I Have An Undiagnosed Child
So....as you may know Dil had a GI appt this last tuesday. A new doc (Dr. Fuchs). This one actually said "this isn't normal, he is not doing this to himself" FINALLY!!!!! And I heard the most amazing words "the ball drops here. I WILL get to the bottom of this"
I nearly cried. Actually I did cry. Just not in the office. So, doing blood work now. Checking for thyroid issues and Celiac disease. And starting at the end of the week Dil is on a strick diet of NO milk products OR soy products. Just to see if it is an allergy. 3 weeks of that and we should know. Also he is going to have a colonoscopy next month to check for crohns and hirschsprungs. *keeps fingers crossed*
I waited so long to hear someone say that they wouldn't give up on my little boy. It took so many trips and doctors and arguments to finally hear that IT ISN'T HIS FAULT! You just don't know how amazing that is.
Hell. There I go tearing up again.
Bah. Update time. We also found out that he has acid reflux. Different meds, no wonder he says his throat hurts.
