Can we add Johannes Kepler to your list.

He fits. Scary smart (first person to use mathematics to make physical predictions) socially awkward, and he displayed symptoms of ADD. When he was teaching he'd suddenly stop in mid-lecture and start working on some problem. He'd completely forget he had a bunch of students. They'd eventually file out of class unnoticed my the teacher.

I wonder if Agatha Christie was an Aspie. If you read the Hercule Poirot short stories and novels, one can't help but recognize he's a perfect Aspie, and so is his secretary, Miss Lemon, whose only interest was the introduction of a new, revolutionary filing system.

And the way A.C. wrote was all about plots, thus she avoided lengthy descriptions. Once asked why she never mentioned sex in her stories, she replied sex would only distract from the plot. Her well structured and factual writing shows at least some pronounced AS traits.
