I Have Had Asperger Syndrome And It Is No Easy Walk To Deal With

I was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome when i was just 16 years old.  I have gone through numerous therapies, medications, and a lot of other things.  I don't deal very well with kids, my social skils are worse than rust, and i have difficulties with the somplest of life's everyday tasks.  I have porblems saving money, dealing with stress and coping witrh the everyday things that happen to normal people.

I struggle with many of those things, too, but I don't think I have Asperger's. The reason is that I am VERY empathetic and read social cues quite well, but socializing is often nevertheless painful and awkward for me, so I tend to avoid people. I can really relate to not being able to deal with kids, too. I am also not a big fan of anything that makes a lot of noise, like constantly barking dogs or loud music. It's tough when people think you are mean or antisocial because the slightest things can set you off, causing you to dislike the company of children, for example, or not liking parties or social gatherings because of the crowds, music, and chaos. But deep down inside, I am actually a very caring person. I suspect that is true of many people that society misjudges. One thing to keep in mind is that it's okay to be you, and not struggle to be someone that society thinks you should be. We are all different, and as long as you are not hurting anyone else, then you have a right to live your life as you choose, even if most people don't understand your motivations.

I'm an Aspie with A.D.D./HD

i am most probably autistic (it seems to me it's genetic in my family) and i have ADD,but not ADHD

Wow man, I'm really sorry. I have the same issues. It seems the older I get the harder it is for me to deal with any sort of stress or from social bonds. I hope you have a support network... I wish I did.

Sorry to hear this. Just stay strong and believe in yourself. Things can get better
