I Have Asthma....asthma Doesn't Have Me...well Anymore...lol

I have had asthma since the age of 2. My asthma was very severe at that age, until I seemed to 'grow out' of it at the age of 7. At the start of my 6th grade year, out of nowhere I had a serious attack that hospitalized me for a week. My asthma became worse until my doctor prescribed a nebulizer and corticosteroids. Now I am 16, living the athlethic life and not letting my asthma overcome me that much anymore. I might have a serious attack every blue moon, but I know what to do.

wow that's a great story!! My sister got athsma when she was born and she almost died!! The docters had to take out her lower intestent, so now she can't get fat. I don't know how I could live without her. Now that I know someone is on the same page with me, I feel complete!!<br />

good for you!

That's fantastic to hear that you've grown out of you asthma, and that you are now confident with dealing with a severe attack. Hoorah for you!
