Astraphobia

I remember that it started sometime between first grade and second grade, but I have no idea what started it. Whenever there's a really severe storm I get an internal panic attack. It's not as bad as it used to be, but it's still pretty awful. I always think I'm going to die when the weather is severe. When it's happening I can tell that the fear is illogical, but that doesn't make it go away.

And whenever I check The Weather Channel's website during bad weather the fear intensifies. (My mom and I joke that I should put a parental block on The Weather Channel's website.)
