Diagnosed At 16

I went through school having all sorts of trouble. At one point they had placed me into a remedial english class which ofcourse I was failing miserably. The only way was for me to parent preference out and all that was available was an honors class "British Literature." They said that WHEN I fail i'd have to take the F. Well it interested me so I ended up with an A+. Then they took me in to get tested and boom... sure enough heh. I was on Ritalin for a long time and eventually took myself off of it. I am a totally different person when I am on the medication but I have learned to deal with life fairly well off of it. I wouldn't reccomend going off the meds for anyone... you have to know what life is like on the meds then be able to mimic it off of the meds... which is easier said than done and i've fallen quite a few times.
