Can't Stop Itching

I am 22 yrs old and was diagnosed today.  So I have had issues with my liver levels for about a year but my doctor never seemed to concerned she just made me come in every few months to have blood work and that was about all. Then about four weeks ago I basically stopped eating for about 5 days because nothing stayed down, I was getting so sick I stopped breathing a few times (VERY SCARY). So I ended up at my local hospital on a Friday. By Tuesday I was completely jaundice skin and eyes. So I went up to a hospital that I have heard nothing but great things about. They admitted me and ran every test under the sun it felt like( I had a cat-scan, ultrasound, MRE, and a liver biopsy). They sent me home and I knew nothing until  today (which is 2 weeks after I got out of the hospital) when I went to see my new doctor and he diagnosed me with AIH. I have to go Thursday to a GI doctor and find out their plan of treatment. The best part is I have not stopped itching in about a month now and I am about to go crazy the hydroxine did NOTHING for me. So Tomorrow I get my new medication and hopefully I will get some sleep and stop ripping my skin apart.
