Dear special Dad, thank you so much for yr response, it really aligns with my situation. Yes, weed has helped, been the only thing to help, but cannot use it due to job requirements. Cannot be in blood system. Have used Vit B shots, but will look into the other things you mention. Thank you so much and much compassion Goes out to you as you care for your family. Thank you for sharing.

It is too late, when the nerves are sick everything is sick. The neuropathy has not only affected your brain, it has effected your personality and the life choices you have made over the years. I look fine, I look great in fact but I can not do a thing, I spend a lot of time in bed, any effort I make results inalmost unbearable pain yet I do the best I can to care for my family. I am constantly trying new meds. You have to fight fire with fire. I have a substance I use that my state and doctor had to allow. I never thought at 58 I would be puffing weed but it helps my pain, depressiom and energy. I also use magnesium to help he achieve more wakefulness and the new B vitamin, Benfotiamine has been a great help. I started running 2 years ago and I smoke before I go out to run. Oh the places you will go is what Dr Suess said or something like that.

I have diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Neurontin has been of some help for me. It is also available as a generic. Good luck!!
