have had these hives for almost 5 years. I am now 34 years old and I have thought they were from stress. I just started noticeing a pattern with them showing up around time for my period. Now my daughter is showing signs of them also. She is 14 and has only had her period for a couple months now. This last week we both got to itching so bad, we looked like a couple crazy women in the house.
My doctor gave me cream for them and it seems to work but I have to use it 2-3 times a day religously until they start going away. Mine are on my hands with the fingers being the worse and the inner part of my arms. I havent got a pattern on my daughters yet but they were on her scalp, wrists, hands and feet.
Does anyone know about autoimmune disorders in general? My mother has an autoimmune disease and I wonder if we may have gotten this from her having one?
