I was recently denied for a secured credit card.  How is that possible?  I thought that because I was supplying the money for the credit limit, it'd suffice??

I was told to challenge items on my credit report.  Thing is, I've already checked my credit report this year, and without having an accountant next to me, I wouldn't know what to challenge.  Everything on it is from years ago, I think the most recent being 5.

I've been doing everything I can to rebuild my credit since I let it all crash and burn from a mental breakdown I had in college.

Has anyone else been denied a SECURED credit card?  If so, what did you do?

So far, it looks like I'll go another year, doing what I've been doing:  paying the bills on time, and waiting for the next year to apply once again.  Better luck next time, they say, right?
