Ex-husband Was the Culprit

Well, ex-husband and father ...

But let's focus on one creep at a time.

He was an alcoholic. It started off with pushing and shoving, and graduated into slammed fingers in the door, stepped on feet, and being hit over the head with the phone when I tried to call the cops.  When he pushed me down a flight of stairs giving me a back injury that has lasted until this day that was the final straw.

I started to hit back, and I turned into the physical abuser.  I'm not proud.  But one night I nearly killed him. 

Then I left before I did, and divorced him.  I've never hit anyone since. I hope and pray never to again.
