I Have Been In a Limousine
The first time I was in a limo, it was from the funeral home to the graveyard when my uncle died. I was 9. I never wanted to be in another limo again.
Then when I was in high school, I was coerced into going to prom. For some reason, we were dumb enough to let the boys make the pre-prom plans - BAD IDEA.
We had 8 people in one limo, so we were piled on each other, which was kinda normal for us. Then they made dinner plans at a really posh restaurant an hour from the actual prom - reservations for 30 minutes before prom started, and then we were late because some parents needed entirely too many freaking pictures.
After dinner we made our way to the prom - arriving well over 3 hours late. On the way from the restaurant to the prom, we were taking turns hanging out the sun roof - stupid and immature, but tons of fun. When we got to the prom, they so did not want to let us in. All of us had disheveled clothes, our hair was all kinds of messed up, one girl had had a lipstick incident trying to put it on in a moving vehicle. I am sure we looked like we were up to no good.
Finally a teacher who knew we were good kids but very very blonde told them to let us in. It was pretty fun, but we were glad we were 3 hours late. By the time it was time to go, we were ready to go.
While we were waiting for our limo (last because of our arrival time) we got to watch the others. One had a friggin hot pink limo. It looked like someone had eaten pink glow sticks and pepto, and thrown up on the car. ugh.
