I Have Been to a Sunset Celebration In Key West

Oh, Btw, the Sun Is Setting....

Many years ago I was in Key West with an old love....down on Mallory Square at sundown....there's so much to watch...cats jumping through hoops of fire....a silvery living robot....lots of food vendors....and of course the beer.....finally, finally we made our way down to the edge of the dock to find that....

we were the only people watching the sunset--the spectacle around us had everyone's attention.

sigh....

Just got back...and yes, the man is still hearding cats on the dock. Many great side shows, but nothing compairs to the sunset.

Walked around with no plans, but did get smoked out of our B&B when the building next to Margaritaville burned down. An exciting start to the trip.

Have a great trip! We just pretty much walked around everywhere with no plan, just stopping when we were thirsty or hungry or saw something interesting. One thing that I always enjoy is the drive down to the keys, looking at the beautiful turquoise water.

I am heading there in a month. Any suggestions. Hope to eat, drink, get nude, and enjoy each moment. Want to do some scuba too.

We could walk, and walk, and walk, and visit Hemingway's house to see the many-toed cats who have much disdain for tourists (actually for everyone, they're cats)....and eat fried alligator....
