I Have Been to Rehab

Many times, I think it worked for a short while but I wasn't strong enough to keep it up.

We done things like write our life stories which was really hard to face up to everything in my life, demons and all.

That was in a place in Dublin called High Park or Merchants key project, if anyone has been there pleas get in touch, I made some great friends who I'd love to talk to again.

Most time I've went in Scotland it's been more of a hospital set up which didn't really work, I appreciate all the people who work there and try and help people like me, we're or I'm not an easy person to get on with.

    Thanks mizzen your a kind person, they say that out of a group of 12 only 1 will make it and stay clean, that was in the quite intense programe in Dublin. So if thats true the odds are stacked against me.

    Not that i'm one for facts and figures but they also said that it takes an average of 7 times of going through rehab till all the teaching and learning sticks, i've been about 4 or 5 times to proper rehab so heres hoping.

    Here's hoping you'll be able to hook up with your friends soon. It would be great if any of them was on EP:)



    I think it's like alcoholism (both my late parents were alcoholics), there are often a lot of relapses, alot of false starts, but stick at it, Monica, and I wish you every success!
