my grandma always had birds as i grew up. parakeets or cockatiel were always in her house. if one passed away it was quickly replaced by another. as an adult our house was dogs and cats, but we never tried birds. after my accident something triggered me to get our first cockatiel, Sunny. discovering the joy of birds led to another cockatiel, a female, Yue. then my youngest son decided he wanted to try finches. we adopted three brothers from the pet store downtown, they were born there. Moe, Larry and Curly are their names. my middle son received some birthday money and had been watching a pacific parrotlet at the other local pet store, his name is Schnitzel. just a couple months ago a cousin of mine had baby lovebirds. we ended up adopting two of them, Romeo and Juliette are their  names. almost forgot the 2 parakeets Mr. and Mrs. agent P . as insane as it sounds it is our goal to one day add an african grey to the flock. nothing is more peaceful than the sound of the flock singing.
