Update!

My husband and I got relatively good news after our OB visit. She suggested that while I may have complications, there was no reason not to try. She believes with careful monitoring there's every reason to think we could have a successful pregnancy! I'm so excited, but also a little nervous about the whole process. Thanks in advance for any prayers, positive thoughts, good vibes, etc. you could send our way!

I have found some GREAT Bladder Exstrophy groups on Facebook with tons of people with BE and also parents of BE children. The groups are very active and provide a TON of support and advice. Just search "Association for Bladder Exstrophy" "Bladder Exstrophy" and "Just BE",there are even a few more private groups too.If you can't find them, please let me know.I will send you an invite!

I have bladder extrophy and had a healthy baby girl in May 2011,the only problems I had during pregnancy was being unable to walk from about four months into the pregnancy until birth, and having to change the size of my urostomy bag as bump grew bigger. If you have any worries or questions please get in touch
