I Have Bought a Car
I got some bad advice from my family......none of them went to university and only my dad had ever finished college.
I felt like university was too intimidating and decided when I was younger that i would NEVER go there!
So instead I went to college. With the leftover money I had in my savings I wanted to stay in residence.
Instead my mom convinced me that I should live at home and use the money to buy a car instead.
I bought a used 95 sunfire. it was purple with grey interior....
drove the crap outta that car being bored in the suburbs with my friends....
and many days skipping class to hotbox in the parking lot.
Can't help but wonder how different my life could have been if I wasn't so misinformed and misguided....
But at least the car did help me escape my ****** reality.....and some freedom from my controlling parents.
