Seem's Like A Lifetime

My Fiance has been inside for over 3months now, the day he was taken from the court i was an emotional mess, i didnt no what i was going to do or how he was going to cope, But three months down the line i have finally come round to the idea & have realised its not forever, I find it hard talking to family & friends as most the time they say the wrong thing or dont understand, I have good days but bad days too, Has anyone got any tips on how to get through it all?

i'm in a similar situation love, i prefer not to talk about it but inside its eating away at me. It hurts not being able to see them/talk to them when ever you want to. to be honest with me i find it harder each day without him, even though everyone tells me its another day closer to him coming home. i'm not sure how to tell you how to make it easier because i don't know myself, i just try to keep occupied but it doesn't last long. all i think is if your man loves you n you love him you will get through it all and believe me when your reunited again it will be more beautiful then it was before, keep your head held high n try n keep that smile on your face :) this is only temporary it wont last forever x

I'm on the same shoes like you my man went to jail and I love him I have kids from People won't leave alone!! Taking bad a bout him

My boyfriend has been locked up for 2 months now, serving 4 years. The best advice i can give you is to write him as much as you can and be strong for him. They count us to be strong for them. I haven't talked to my boyfriend in almost a month, but i write him everyday. They like getting letters everyday so they feel like they are here with us. Keep busy! Get a hobby or spend time with family and friends as much as you can. I know he will always be in the back of your mind but try. I know my family and friends don't understand either but thats what we are here for. If you someone to talk to just send me a msg, I know how hard this can be.
