My Grandad's Cancer Battle

When I was 6 years old my grandad had a stroke. He was about 60, so they wanted to know the cause of it. They did a ct of his lKidney  because his stomach was hard and he had been having pains for about 3 month thier. The CT reveald he had a quite small but definatley there tumour. Suprisingly, he wasnt to alarmed because he though it would be beninne. It wasnt. They biopisied it, and there it was. Positive. We where all stunned. They put him in hospital getting him ready for surgery, they didnt want to try chemo or raido therapy, as they said it wa quite small but if they left it, it could mestataize (I dont know how to spell it). He had a 4hour surgery and was sent to the Recovery Ward, where we could visit him. Two days after the surgery, we visisted him. The doctor told us the news that he was now cancer free and the cance had not spread. I am now 13, my grandad is cancer free, but has recenlt had two heart attaks and has had a stent put in bis heart. He is recovering from the heart attacks well, and is currently at home resting.
