Ugh WeekSo with cycle 2, I think I know my monsters:
Day 1-3 (starting with discharge from hospital): Nausea (bad enough to need metoclopramide)
Day 3-5: The Tiredness. "Feels like the flu without the usual flu symptoms."
Day 6-9: The light headedness bad enough to make you faint if you stand up.
If you ever wonder why people want to give up chemotherapy and chose death, go for chemo. The knowledge this is going to keep happening to you for months, but you will still be going through with it, would break lesser people than us. Mercifully, I still want to live, but I can now understand why people would stop their chemo and try living on carrot juice.
