Finally! I Got Some Answers!

In Feburary 2011, I got sick with what appeared to be a really bad stomach flu. It was so bad that I couldn't keep anything down and had to go to the emergency room twice. For a little over a year I have been constantly nauseous. I went to the family doctor so many times, that it's not funny. My family doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with me so I went to an alternative medicine doctor. This new doctor immediately ordered some blood tests to see if I had any food allergies and viruses. Three days ago(May 2012), my blood tests results came in. The doctor diagnosed me with some mild food allergies, 3 viruses in my intestines, and Celiac Disease. I'm really happy to finally have some answers to why I have constant nausea. I am now taking anti-viral meds and transitioning to a gluten-free diet. So far, it has been hard, since I can no longer eat most of my favorite foods. I'm thinking about going to a local CD Support Group, but i'm not too sure about it.

I hope that nobody else has to go through what I have.

I'm only able to have dairy products once a week. CD sometimes causes lactose-intolerance.

I'll make sure to post food/recipes that taste good. :D
