I have CRPS II. If this is what you have, stay on top of your doctor. Earlier you catch it, the easier it is to treat. Not curable, but you can treat it to attempt to have a normal life. Mine went undiagnosed for 5 years and now nothing is working and I am wheelchair bound, possibly for the rest of my life, and I am only 27. Good luck!

Hi. My name is Amy. I am 16 years old and have had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome for 4 years. As far as what you can do, if it is really CRPS there is very little. My best advice is to never let your leg get weak. Make sure you exercise, but try not to push yourself too hard. Everyone has different triggers to their flare ups. When you find yours, it will be easier to control. Chinese medicine has helped me a lot, and taking vitamins every day to make sure your blood is flowing may help too. Unfortunately there is no cure, but my best suggestion is too never let it win, keep fighting. You can get through it.
