I Am Concern Mother

My son is six years old and was born with a TGA.  He had surgery four days after he was born.  His hearth has been responding appropriately as he has not required medication or other medical procedure.  However, he has some problems in developing his language skills.  He was diagnosed a semantic pragmatic disorder.  It falls in the high functioning of autism.   He has improving his language, but his behavior has been affected specially at school.  His neurologist recommended for him to be in medication for ADHD to help him to relax and focus in school.    I consulted his cardiologist and he reported that my son would be fine with the medication.  However, I afraid that this could affect his hearth functioning.
Does anyone knows any information about this ?
