At College. Most of the stories I see here are from grade school and high school. My story is from college though. Let me start by saying that I have never been good in math. I always tried my best to understand and study math, but I just can't get the hang of it. So during college I had to take a low level math course to build up my skills so I can take a college level course. I ended up failing the first two quizzes. So I studied really hard for the next quiz. I even studied during work. So the day came for me to take the third quiz. I looked at the paper, and realize that I didn't know anything. I had no idea how to answer the problems. So I sat there for about 10 minutes, walked up to the teacher and handed him my paper. I didn't say anything. I proceeded to walk out. I then walked into the school library and went to the back wall behind some book shelves to collect my thoughts. I then started crying knowing that I couldn't pass the class and would have to drop it. I felt like such a failure. I could handle pretty much any subject but once it came to math, I couldn't do it. I am now taking the class again (different teacher). I hope that I won't let myself down this time.
