urly, red hair w/ freckles... and in the Florida humidity it's hit or miss. It takes forever to straighten and then the damp air hits and forget it. So big and curly it is... I wonder what it would do in a dryer climate like Nevada? I hear that it's just plain hot there. Oh well... until then it's funky curly big hair for me. :)

My moms cuban so my brothers both have curls that grow out like "afros" and then my sister got the straight blonde hair and what do I get.. a mess! Product helps and on every so often I'll get a perm just to help it hold it's shape but the natural curls are now more flippy waves. I still love it. And the little bangs that grow out are the corkscrew kind but still use lots of stuff in it.   |
 | Posted Jan 2nd, 2008 at 3:22PM Alterna makes a hemp product for straightening your hair, (red tube). I use a about a 1/4 of a dine size and it covers ALL my hair, (thick but upper back length) I use it on rainy days for the curls and works much better than gel and somewhat better than mousse.
