Hi Thier

I found out I have cushionings about 1 yr ago it took about 4 yrs to diagnose my Tumor is on my adrenal gland and I have been suffering so many symptoms but they keep telling me it's to much of an Invasive surgery that they want to wait till it gets worse. I don't know how much worse it can get as I feel terrible. Any advise if I should see a different dr as mine seems to feel they must wait till things just get worse

I think I have this too and it has been about five years and doctors are just now taking me seriously. Did they operate to remove the tumour yet?

'Waiting' is ridiculous! Waiting for what? Until you have permanent problems due to your high cortisol levels? An adrenal secreting tumor requires an adrenalectomy, for heaven's sake!

you really should see several doctors. As for my case, I had to go to 3 different one before they found out that I have hypercortisolism. I hope your next doctor could help you =)

definetly see a diferent doctor. and then another one and keep going until you get results. make them operate. I have had cushings twice. The second all cortisol levels were normal but all other symptoms were there so I knew. I was so sick & tired I could move. But because my cortisol was "normal" doctors wouldn't believe me.(except my GP) so she just kept sending me to different specialist after specialist until finally one did tests properly. MRI showed another large tumour and 3months worth of peeing into a bottle showed I have cyclal cushings. My cortisol levels only rise depending on my monthly cycle. Very rare. DON'T GIVE UP GO FIND SOMEONE NOW

3 months of pee? Goodness!!

Did you get the tumor removed from your adrenal gland or pituitary gland?
