I Don't Mess Around With My Depression

I take my meds everyday no matter what. I have fallen a time or two into the bottomless pit of despair and depravity. I know all too well what it's like to have absolutely no hope and you hear death calling your name. I never want to be caught off guard again!!!

Some people are afraid to get on a medicine for depression. I say if your symptoms are definately hampering your daily life then try them. Start off with something that is cheaper cost and has less side effects. All the SSRI's have sexual side effects but think of it this way.. would you rather have some decreased interest in sex or slowly watch you life dwindle to despair and nothing. It can happen fast and your family may not know what to do to help you.

The meds are the first step to pulling you out of the whole and then you can begin the process of healing. Counselling is very important. A lot of times we have stressors and issues burried deep in our subconcious/childhood memeory. These things need to be exercised and dealt with before we can move on.

So get the help you need or get it for someone you know. You don't want to have to deal with death or despair in the future..
