My dads dad had it. Had 6 toes amputated. He lived till upper 60s. My moms sister dad had it. Slipped into a diabetic coma them lost his life. My mom's sister had it. Lost all her teeth, her eye sight, and 9 of her toes before losing her life in her late 30's. My dads sister is living with it. She's on insulin injections. My sister is living with it and on insulin injections. This disease is way to close to my heart.

gosh...your mom sister, dying in her 30's. Was she treated??? Was it type 2 or type 1? That seems like awfully young to have such devastation.

if type 2 diabetes is the issue, please know that lifestyle changes (diet and exercise) can prevent or even reverse the disease. And one feels better! really!
