There are diabetic creams you can use for the burning and needle pain. They tend to be expensive. I personally have found Avon sells a cooling cream that works just as well and costs far less.
They also make a cream called cracked heel relief. Get some and use it every day. Because of your diabetes you are going to have more dry skin than is normal for others. When you have to be on your feet all day take time to find a place to sit and put your feet up as often as you can.
Change your shopping habits to limit the time your on your feet. I am afraid that there are many things that will be changing in your life due to this disease. With care you can avoid loosing toes or your feet to it.
If you have any concerns of ongoing or unendurable symptoms See a Doctor. This includes a cut that doesn't heal quickly enough on your feet dear. Please check your feet for wounds often.
I am sorry once you develop these symptoms they generally don't ever go away. You can keep them from getting worse by controlling your blood sugars or A1c's. Check your BS often.
    I wish you the best

I will definately check on those creams. I have been thinking about calling my Dr. I have been watching my sugar and carb intake and have even been to 2 classes. One for me last year and one with my mom last week. My family Dr is actually an Endocrinologists. I do check my feet daily and even rub them.
      Thank you so much....
