Hello Angela, I just read your paragraph and was wondering how you are doing now. My husband is in the same boat at you. A year and a half ago he was very strong and active. Today he will be applying for permanent disability. He cannot work and is so weak and in pain. We are having a hard time with doctors. He has been diagnosed with diabetic amyotrophy. The endocrinologist we go to has never seen a case before. We are at a loss at what to do. We cannot get his blood sugars under control and he is being evaluated for a pump. Hope you are doing better and if you know of anything that can help-let me know
