Just Finding Out That I have Diverticulitis

Let's see we're do I begin! As of this past Wednesday evening my fiancé and I went out to dinner at a local diner. When leaving the diner I felt so sick so when I reached home that ended me up in the bathroom with diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain. I was rushed by the volunteer ambulance to the hospital of my choice where I was first diagnosed with food poisoning. Three days later the abdominal pain got worse and my fiancé took me back to the same hospital where the doctor ordered a CT Scan and that is when I was told that I had Diverticulitis. I wanted to join this group in hopes that I can find people who have been diagnosed with the same problem so we can all learn together how to manage this so called disease.
