I Was 18

My parents waited until I was 18 to divorce, they lived in an unhappy marriage as long as I could remember. It was almost weird seeing them when they got along. I always wanted them to divorce, I thought they were crazy for staying together. When they finally did it hurt more than I expected. Now my mother is all alone and I can't help to think she wouldn't be if they had split earlier. My father has moved on......quite a few times. Now that I am grown and married I hope I learned enough of what not to do to make it. Time will only tell!!!
