I Cringe to Recall Them

i can't even allow myself to think about these things, let alone write them - even anonymously.

shame is a powerful emotion for me. guilt and shame makes me shut down. i think about certain experiences, my face flames, and i immediately run away from that thought.

i think it's okay that i don't dwell on the things i've done that i'm ashamed of - what good would it do other than to help me learn?

and, trust me, i've already learned.

If you had been raised as a male...would you still feel shame? If not, then you are the victim of male domination/controlled culture. This unfair bias creates a huge disadvantage against women in the game of life.

You are playing tennis/dodge ball/ whatever against men and you are required to ware high heels/tight skirt/and are never allowed to sweat or have your hair messed Lol Oh Oh Oh one more thing, if you ob<x>ject then you are accused of being w/o humor AND acting like a BI*CH.

I not only think you should not fell ashamed but would go further and say you should feel darn proud of how well you have done under such a severe handicap!...DD

(1.)
Men are often proud of same things that women are ashamed of...(Hey! I had sex with three different women, all at the same time, and I didn’t EVEN know there names. Lol.)
(2.)
Men are able to accept there physical appearance without undue concern. (Hey! I don’t have a six pack any more. Now I have the keg. Lol.) -DID YOU SEE Simon ON “IDOL” WEAR A PLAIN WHITE T-SHIRT? OMG and there was no commit…Would a women even think of dressing like he did? Would there be –no commit- if she did?

Our culture has clearly stacked the cards against women on many levels. I wish women could just say **** YOUR UNFAIR JUDGEMENT…Women of the world unite!
Do not let this unfair burden of shame hold you down.

Ok, I feel better... AND I HOPE YOU WOMEN DO TOO!!!...DD

Well, I know that to you, it's personal. But just letting you know that we ALL do things we're ashamed of. But it's really good if we don't let it stop us from living, and the embarrassing things can teach us to learn from those experiences, too. Ya think?

I hope that someday your heart will be so warm that the pain will melt away under the heat of your love for yourself.

I know how that feels! Guilt and shame have been the demons on my shoulder for years!

I'm just now learning to forgive myself!

Guilt is such a wasted emotion! You're the only one who gets hurt with guilt!
If you've learned the lesson, then you can move on and have a full happy life!

It's starts with forgiving yourself!
