Life With My Emetophobic Child

Hi everyone. My daughter is 11. A severe emetophobic. After becoming extremely underweight, refusing school, not eating and washing hands until they bled. I found the right help. Exposure therapy at a children's anxiety clinic has almost cured her. After 3 weeks of intense daily therapy and parent coaching as well, we have made it through to the other side. Therapy is still ongoing, but progress has finally come! I started a blog. emetophobiadeconstructed.blogspot.com
Thanks for reading this.

I've been thinking about going to an exposure therapy for a while now... It seems to do wonders for others.

You must try! It will take a lot of courage from you, but it really works. I wish you strength to overcome this horrible phobia. You can do it!

Thank you!
