Endometriosis Is Aweful

I am 30 years old. I have had heavy., aweful periods since day 1, about 11 years old. I have 2 children. The last 6 months have been hell though. Bad, bad cramping, atleast 2 weeks before my period even starts and if it starts. Not only do I bleed very heavy but recently I was very late on periods, but still aweful cramping and bloating. The cramping was not going away. Even after my period finally came. The cramping did get alittle milder after it ended, but those 2 weeks and the time of my period, WOW! At one point, I thought maybe I was having a tubal pregnancy, but my blood work was negative. Sooo, after many visits to the ER and doc office, I just recently got a Laposcopy. He found Endometriosis on my ovaries and burned it off. This was 2 days ago. I sure hope it works. I can't take the PAIN, bloating, fatigue anymore! It doesn't go away anymore! It just got worse and worse. Any comments back would be apprieciated. I sure hope the laposcopy burning works!!!

I too hope the surgery works for you. I would like to ask what the procedure is like. My health insurance doesnt start until the first of January but that will be when i get my laproscopy (spelling?). Im nervous as ive never had surgery (not even stitches) before. To they put you out or do they just numb you? Sorry for all the questions, just curious as to what to expect and how much down time to expect, as i am a mother of 3..

I hope surgery work for you! I had a lap 4 yrs ago, but I was really young and had a terrible surgeon so it's no surprise my endo pains came back. Stay strong!

I hope it works for you. Endo is hell and I pray yours doesn't come back. And those who have never had it, will never understand.
