I Have Experienced Culture Shock
I grew up in utah being raised in a mormon family. We moved to virginia, and I found it hard to deal with the fact that none of the other kids at school were mormon. I was still somewhat shut into myself, and my mom did everything she could to keep me isolated. I came to college and faced another culture shock, because I finally emerged from mormonism into nihilism and learned that tea and coffee are great. I've had so many people misjudge me, though. I grew up differently, and people just want to think that everyone is just like they are. I hate it.
