I was diagnose with FMD in the carotid arterys and before I was diagnose that exactly how I felt. I think you are having TIA's, you really should see a team of doctors. The doctors said I also have it in the kidney arteries as well. I was recommended to take one full asprin a day so far it's working, I just make sure I take it with food. I pray you find a good doctor, I've been blessed and my faith keeps me from worrying about my condition. Keep us informed. God bless!

Hi there. My partner has FMD of the carotid arteries. What part of the country are you in? It's important to get a good doctor or teams of doctors on your side. A LOT of doctors don't know much about FMD and how to treat it, but there ARE good ones out there! I suggest looking into the FMDSA (Fibromuscular Dysplasia Society of America) and MWVA (Midwest Women's Vascular Advocates). My partner and I are part of the MWVA support group and I know others have gotten assistance finding local doctors thru FMDSA. I am not a doctor and I don't know everything about FMD, but I have heard more than once that even patients with FMD shouldn't be on that many BP meds. There may be something that can be done, just have to find the right folks! Good luck with your health, if you'd like to chat more you can find me on Facebook :)

Can you look into natural medications, maybe, and i don't want to be the one saying this, but do you think the medication is pulling you down, I'm sure there is a balance to what you have experienced, what they have diagnosed, and what the meds are doing, if you can't live your life on the meds that you are recieving, look into alternative medicine, could be a god send,I do wish you well, i'm not a doc, but side effects from some types of meds can outweigh how we would want to, or can live our lives normally. x
