Misunderstanding

I was hanging out wid some friends one of my friends is a huge idiot (plus he broke most of his bones literally most of them he even know all the bones is names ) like the funny kind that people always laugh at but he's still smart in class.. well he is one of those people who messes around a lot with people . well i always stood by his side when we were freshmen some junior wanted to beat him up so i told him he wasnt gonna go down alone so we just went up to him and his friends they started talking and i guess the dude had a misunderstanding so nothing happened.. well this time he messed with my cousins girlfriend (he did something wid her hair i forgot what it was ) so my cousin at lunch just goes up to him (it was my cousin his friend and his friends brother which i think was a junior ) ....(n my friends was wid some other 20 or 30 guys wid him not including me ) n tells him "WTF man wats ur damb problem ?! " " U better stop ur **** or ill stop it for you " so at that time i chose my cousins side cause you know family is family.. so the bell rang we all went to class what ever and the next day my friend didnt go to school. so at lunch i just went to go hang out with him and all of a sudden he gets up from the table and pushes me so i told him "WTF" he just yells at me "I CANT BELIEVE YOU WERE AGAINST ME YESTERDAY!! " so i told him " WAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN I CHOSE YOUR SIDE STUPID !! " n i just push him back .. then all of a sudden i saw that he was gonna punch me so i moved and well he missed so i told him "CUT YOUR OWN **** !! " but he still went ahead and punched me so i punched him back and we started fighting he ripped my lip and i almost broke his nose he was bleeding a lot from his mouth and nose then for some reason i threw him down and started holding his neck to the ground and told him "just calm down " then all of a sudden the dumb principal grabs me by the shirt and takes me to the office he gave me a referral.and none of our parents knew we had fought each other in school .. then later i guess he finally understood that i was on his side.
