Loving Again

i fled the scene
i lay down low
and hiding there
the tears did flow

i sat so still
 here on my hill
and saw the wreckage
and the spill

it seemed to me
a sorry sight
 so i retreated
into night

but day came swiftly
from that night
horizons broader
into sight

i leave the night
i seek the day
it's golden sunlight
i will play

    Aww i love this .. it says so much about leaving the darkness and entering new brighter and sunnier days .. don't ever doubt your writing its awesome enough to be published in a book of poems you know .. ;)
