Learning To Live With Gastroparesis

I was diadnosed in November by a gastric-emptying test. I experience pain almost immediately after eating and it takes a long while before it goes away. I seem to do better on a liquids but I want to work around this and I try to eat small bite of solids at each meal. Smells make me feel nauseous and I find it hard to cook. I am dealing with my emotions being up and down as I am trying to accept this new pathway of my life. I am very thankful that I have a very supportive husband and family. I am looking forward to this support group.

I can relate to you. I am having a hard time accepting that this is now my life. Hard thing to swallow. I wish you the best and hope you can find a way to cope, as I hope I can too! Best of luck through this journey! :-)
