Here Goes Anther "Four Eyes"

I've had them since 94', although probably needed them long before then.    I ahve bifocals.  My distance is not that bad, but reading without them, better get me a good magnifying glass!  I hate them, but I love them.  They're a pain trying to adjust them all of the time even when you're not wearing them.  The first several times they fogged up on me I freaked out, thoiught I was going blind or something!

I love them, though, because I love being able to read.  The distance mainly comes in handy when on the highway and needing to be able to see the signs before I get to them!

When I first got glasses (for like the first couple of years) if I'd fall asleep watching tv or something, my youngest daughter would remove them ever__ so__gently trying not to wake me up.  Just as they'd come completely off, I'd wake up.  My daughter would say:  "oh Mommy, I'm so sorry.  I just don't want you to bend or break them or be uncomfortable."  She finally gave up on it.  We still laugh about that, today.  She was just trying to take care of her mommy.
