I Like Mine.

I remember when I was a kid, I used to beg my mom for glasses.  I could tell my vision wasn't the best. She finally buckled and we went through the fun fun trip of getting them.   I almost regretted getting them, since my eyes are extremely oversensitive.

I wore them for a good number of years, I ended up losing them and didn't get another pair. I noticed that my vision was better without them anyway. Seemed like it was fading in and out.

Years later, my husband noticed I was squinting as I was watching TV.  He told me I should get my eyes checked again. Turned out, I have an astigmatism on each eye.  I got these really cool black frames and actually enjoy wearing my glasses.

Cleaning them can be a bit cumbersome, but for the most part, I feel quite comfortable in them.

I've seen recently that they've got contacts that people with astigmatisms can wear, but after thinking about it, I'd rather not.

I like my glasses.

I loved my glasses fr<x>ame though I was self conscious of the glass itself as they were thick... even with technology to make them thin and they distorted my face. <br />

Now I don't have to wear glasses as I got Lasik. Yay!
