It Was Bound to Happen

I didn't get glasses until I turned 20, but I outlasted nearly all of my family members. On my mother's side, most people got their first pair before they turned 13. My father's side has slightly better vision, but not by much.

My glasses were only meant to be for reading and driving...but, since I'm nearly always doing one of those, they turned into all-the-time glasses and now I get a headache if I go more than thirty minutes without them. *sigh* I don't like being so dependent on them.

I got my first when I was 21, but now I have to wearing they all the time, sometimes for special occassions I wearing contacts.

I've gotten into the shower with mine on before. I hadn't been awake for very long...so I was very confused.

I think it's worse when you do get attached to them, I forget I'm wearing mine and forget them when I'm going to bed.
