Hi Tracy, I am very sorry to hear about your mother. I can understand the stress and trauma you must be going through, i had seen my cousin going through it the same way. He was dianosed with GBM in April 2009, underwent surgery followed by chemo and radiation. Initially he improved but then went down as the tumor size increased. The doctors advised only palliative care as 2nd surgery was not possible. Since chemo had not wroked earlier so my cousin and relatives were not keen for it. They went for a new alternate treatment " SPMF " and quite surprisingly it did benefit him. I heard its a non invasive and safe treatment. My cousin is doing well.... its been almost 4 yrs since the SPMF treatment. He has recovered to an extentwhere he is doing his own normal routine works. I feels you should ter out this treatment as it has helped my cousin and other people.

Do you have siblings, or other family members that you can go through this with? Perhaps search for a brain tumor support group in your area for help. Find someone who has, or is going through what you're going through now. Also ask your Mom's neurosurgeon or neurologist if there are different anti seizure meds to try and/or optimize dose. Medical marijuana could be worth a try as we'll; nothing o lose by trying.
