I Have Glioblastoma
Hello my name is Tracy. My mother was diagnosed less than a month ago. We are on the second week of radiation and chemo treatment. She did not want surgery and the doctors reccommended not to even biopsy, let alone resection.
The tumors are in the left anterior temporal lobe. Her speech is mildly effected. At this time she has partial seizures every three to five minutes. Her medication for the seizures has her in such a confused and disoriented daze. I know the prognosis. I know there are so many worse cases out there. But this is my mom, and this has happened so fast. We all feel lost in this nightmare. It seems she has new symptoms everday. The nurses are so helpful but I don't think they get that I have no idea what to do... If anyone has any advice on how to help get a handle on this please help me.
