Life Changing

I have had GN since 1/2008 and have been through so many MRI's and tests that my hair fell out for a year. I have never had a repreive from it; the pain is there if I am awake. I have been on all the meds but hydrocodone is the only one I have been able to take and still function on. Lyrica and the others made me feel like I was on LSD or something and stronger pain pills make me sleep all the time. I have tried acupuncture and having my body cleansed but nothing seems to make a difference. I pray a lot and am hoping for some kinds of surgery. Oh, and I had nerve blocks that only lasted 3 days and gave me Johnsons syndrome where my eye shut on one side. This is a crazy thing to have and I wish it was something they could just take out lol but keeping a positive attitude and a sense of humor are all I can think of to keep me going. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am thinking I may have GN but I am not sure. The doctors haven't been able to figure out what causes my pain. The symptoms of GN sound like my symptoms but the one symptom that is different that mine is that everyone says they have a "jabbing" pain. My pain is like a REALLY BAD sore throat and radiated into my ears and sometimes jaw. It has been going on for 8 years. Do you mind telling me what kind of pain you experience? Thanks!
