Surgical Menopause Sucks!!

i had severe endometriosis that resulted in removal of my uterus and ovaries....it was horrible......i dont have pain like before and its nice not to menstruate......i think losing my ovaries has affected me emotionally as well as physically......i have zero sex drive, my poor hubby...i feel unable to care anymore and shut off relationships, i cringe if anyone touches me.....i cant help how i feel....

    i forgot i wrote about that! i have had a lot of counselling, this has helped a lot.....my therapist never deals with emotions....being an artist helps me to destress but i need friends to talk with

    I'm sorry to hear that. I imagine it would affect you on an emotional level. Have you sought counseling to help you come to terms with your loss? You may just need some time to adjust. I hope it all works out for you.
