Just A Few Minor Ones..

Throughout my life, I suffered a few minor concussions.

The first one I remember was from falling down a spooked horse. The horse's hooves missed my body, but I still smashed down against the ground pretty hard. I was lucky my safety helmet took the blow, but the following days I felt tired and occasionally the room would spin around me.

This autumn I suffered another one from physical education at school. We'd been playing rugby, and I tackled a classmate of mine from behind.

We smashed onto the ground, my classmate on the soft grass, and my head against her heel.

The world turned dark before my eyes for a second, and when I opened my eyes, my strangely coloured (Pink trees?) surroundings would turn around me. Not long after that I trained for my yellow belt exams, and we did a bit of groundfighting. I'd recovered from the concussion, or so I thought, until my sparring partner pulled my legs out from under me, and I hit my head on the ground.

Luckily these were only minor incidents :)

Ouch. Even minor concussions are a bother, indeed.<br />
And yes, they let us play contact sports during gym. The boys went easy on the girls, but even then, its a contact sport. We did a little bit of judo as well some time ago.
