A Loved One Waiting

The year was 2005 when my family was called to the hospital. We were told our mother only had hours to live and was dying
from cancer. I remember the sobbing and carrying on that made me want to run to another place and time.
I hated to see my mom struggling for her last breath of air. I had seen my dad twenty nine years earliar dying of the same thing.
What more did I have to see to understand that life is short and cruel. At least that is how I felt at the time.
Most of my sisters and myself had left to get some fresh air and take a break from it all. My oldest sister and my son stayed behind
and both sat near my mom as time went by.
My son all of a sudden felt a really strong chill and got up to put on his jacket. My sister mentioned she felt like she was freezing also.
As my son sat back down he saw a strange man that he had never met before but thought he resembled his grand father from pictures he had been shown to him. He never met his grand father since he died before he was ever born.
This man just kept paceing back and forth at the end of the bed. He looked over at my son with this look in his eyes like he wanted to say who are you? My son knew then by those big blue eyes it was his grand dad that had passed so many years ago.
It made my sons face turn as white as a sheet. My sister at this point noticed my sons reactions and said your grand dads here isn't he?
My son just nodded his head and said I have to get out of here. Moments later my mom was gone.
We believe to this day dad was there waiting for his loved one to take with him to Heaven.

I have always seen ghosts and spirits....in your case, sounds like he was a spirit, not a ghost....he only came back to collect his wife. Very sweet.
