I have been considering a tummy tuck in Salt Lake City. I'm still a little scared even after what you have told me. Your advice is good though, Just do it. http://nuvistaplasticsurgery.com

I had a breast reduction and mini tt (no muscle cut). I did not fully research the tummy tuck and did not allow enough time for recovery. I had a lot of loose skin from having a very large baby and no amount of exercise was tightening that skin. I thought I was just getting this skin removed but have a huge scar from hip to hip which I'm sure will fade and go down over time. Surgery was 9/22/11, it has been three weeks and I still have a drain at pubic area which keeps draining. I am going in for a procedure this week to inject an antibiotic that will help with clotting and healing to stop the drainage. Has anyone heard of this? They told me the medicine would burn/sting inside me and the drain will be clamped for 6 hrs. Then I will remove the clamp and dark fluid will flow out. I am scared. This turned out to be more than I bargained for. I am however happy with my smaller breasts. I was very self conscious with tripple D size before and now I can button blouses on my small frame.

I had my extended tummy tuck and a breast lift done a week ago, after losing 90 lbs and having four babies. Even still all stitched together and a drain still in place I am thrilled with how I look already. I think the important part for me was having a good support system of loved ones at home to help me, and knowing that the recovery will be longer than just a few weeks.

I have had so much loose skin for so long - my abdomen looked like nothing so much as rising bread dough - and now it is gone and I am thrilled. I woke up in pain, but it was not a scary amount of pain. Take the pain meds round the clock for sure, take extra good care of yourself and best of luck!
