In My Late 40s.

Piercing has only become popular in the past couple of decades. In the 1990s several of my friends were getting their nipples pierced, and I thought it sounded good. It hurt a lot. I suffered from shock for a while, and it hurt when I slept on them. It took almost 2 years for them to heal, and I got a couple of infections that hurt worse. A man's nipples grow a lot when they are pierced. Scar tissue forms and they become larger.

Now almost 2 years later I have stretched out the holes to 0 gage, about 5/16 inch. My biggest problem is that big metal rings are too cold for little nipples. I wear plastic barbells all winter now. Carpe Diem!
